Mayor Reed Attends St. Louis Fundraiser on Job Growth and Green Initiatives

GreenCity Inc, a St. Louis-based renewable LED lighting and Solar Photo-voltaic company, hosted a fundraiser for Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed Saturday evening in downtown St. Louis.

Many national commercial contractors and developers were on hand to speak to Mayor Reed about job growth and economic development through green initiatives.

"It has been an incredible evening of idea sharing and relationship building," said GreenCity's President Alexander Green Jr. "We are proud to host Mayor Reed and look forward to building a strong green coalition across the southern belt."

Mayor Reed, who will seek reelection this November, spoke to fundraiser attendees about the recently closed deal for the $1 billion stadium for the Atlanta Falcons, but avoided any conversation of newly, acquired running back Steven Jackson, who was most recently with the St. Louis Rams.
