(CNNMoney) -- Wednesday's Powerball drawing could be one for the history books, with the jackpot rising to a record $500 million.

CHICAGO (CBS) — In what appears to be a retaliatory gang attack, two people were shot — one fatally — outside a church funeral on the South Side on Monday.
