The Huffington Post reported that T.I. now is serving the remainder of his sentence at a halfway house in Atlanta.
In 2009, T.I. was sentenced to prison for attempting to purchase unregistered guns and silencers from what turned out to be federal agents. He did seven months and was out on probation when he got in trouble again. He was in Los Angeles in September, 2010 when he was arrested for having four ecstasy pills. That led to an 11-month sentence and was set to go free at the end of Sept. 2011.
“Feels great to be back where I belong...Back in the arms of those who need me the most,” T.I. posted in another tweet on Wednesday.
