The scholarship – valued at over $4,200 – is being offered to academically-qualified, first time freshmen and will cover tuition and fees up to 12 credit hours. It is designed to encourage college attendance as well as to assist Memphis area families at a time when costs for college are prohibitive for many.
“Victory has made a pledge to Memphis,” said Victory University Provost Dr. Jim Jeremiah. “We are dedicated to make higher Christian education affordable and accessible to devoted students who are ready to follow our motto: ‘Think Critically; Grow Spiritually; Change Your World.’
To qualify students must possess a:
Recent High School Diploma (College track)
Minimum 3.0 High School GPA or minimum 19 ACT (SAT equivalent)
Prospective students can apply for admission and the First Semester Freshman Scholarship online at www.victory.edu. They can also attend Victory University’s weekly information sessions held every Tuesday at 6 p.m. and Thursday at 3 p.m.
