FedEx support boosts Dress for Success gala

 

FedEx recently served as a presenting sponsor of the Dress for Success Worldwide fundraising gala in New York City. Memphis-based FedEx recently served as a presenting sponsor of the Dress for Success Worldwide fundraising gala in New York City, an international nonprofit organization that helps disadvantaged women achieve economic independence.

Dress for Success assists women in 106 affiliate locations in nine countries, serving an average of 40,000 women each year. The organization provides professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women get back on their feet and become self-sufficient.
During the gala, more than $1,783,619 was raised for the cause.
 
Since 2006, FedEx has supported Dress for Success through financial contributions, charitable shipping and volunteer efforts by the company’s Women’s Network and other employees. FedEx is also actively involved with the Memphis affiliate of the Dress for Success program, where the company provides financial and professional development support.
