Peck takes helm at LM for 2006-2007

Leadership Memphis (LM) has named Jack Peck as its newly elected 2006-2007 Board Chair. Peck is a past chairman (2000-2004) and current member of the Executive Board of The Memphis Urban League and a board member of Le Moyne-Owen Historic Black College. Leadership Memphis (LM) has named Jack Peck as its newly elected 2006-2007 Board Chair. Peck is a past chairman (2000-2004) and current member of the Executive Board of The Memphis Urban League and a board member of Le Moyne-Owen Historic Black College. He is a past member of Lifeblood and the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau. Already an advocate of LM, Peck is a graduate of the Executive Program Class of 1996. He was program chair in 2000 and a board member since 2002.

Originally from Denver, Colo., Peck is a 1980 graduate of the University of Arizona with a major in radio/TV/communications. He served as account executive for stations KZAZ in Tucson, Ariz., and UPN 31 KMAX in Sacramento, Calif., where he rose to national sales manager. He later made the move to Memphis and Fox 24 as director of sales (1989) and finally joined the Clear Channel Stations as general manager where he has remained since 1992.

Peck and wife Cathy reside in East Memphis with their three children: David, 18, Dylan, 14, and Emily, 10.
