How to report Workers’ Comp fraud

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) will no longer have a Workers’ Comp Fraud Unit (WCFU). This is the result of State budget cuts, which caused TBI to lose several positions, including the seven Special Agents assigned to the WCFU.  This is also the result of the passage of the Omnibus Bill, which deleted the statutory authority for TBI to have the WCFU... All fraud referrals should now be mailed directly to the District Attorney.  The referrals will no longer be mailed to the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development - Workers’ Comp Unit.
