Elder Charles Harrison Mason Patterson Sr.
“The General Assembly elected me to finish out Bishop Lowe’s term,” Elder Patterson said. “I am thankful for the opportunity to continuing serving in this capacity. I have a gained a great understanding of the role of a treasurer for the last two years – and how to work with the financial arm of the church for a more sound and effective financial department.”
COGIC will have a national election in 2012 for the treasurer’s position, and Patterson is expected to launch a public relations message to retain the position.
“I am going on the merit that I have learned the operations of the treasurer’s office since working with Bishop Lowe over the past two years.”
Superintendent Kendale Anderson, pastor of Homeland Church of God In Christ, will serve as Patterson’s assistant.
